Thank you for registering for the Aug 14-15 Burn College Camp and Fall Tryout! If needed, you will hear back within 48-72 hours. You will receive an itinerary via email by Tuesday, Aug 11.

Florida Burn 2026 College Camp/Fall Tryout

August 14th-Bullpens for all pitchers and catchers-Atlanta Braves Spring Complex

August 15th-full tryout for all players including pitchers and catchers (Wellen Park HS and Venice HS)

Burn College Camp Details

The event is for 2027 through 2030 grads. Younger players wanting to play with the high school program this fall are always welcome to tryout to earn a spot.

The cost to attend is $250 for 2027/2028 grads. $100 for 2029/2030 grads. You will not find a more cost effective way to gain exposure.

2029/2030 grads will tryout at the brand new Wellen Park High School Facility. Younger age tryouts will not include college showcasing and recruiters. August 8th Tryouts will include pro-style infield/outfield, batting practice, and live games.

2027/2028 grads will tryout and showcase at the Venice High School Baseball complex. Since these two classes are eligible to be recruited, college coaches will attend the VHS workouts. August 15th Tryouts will include pro-style infield/outfield, batting practice, and live games.

All pitchers and catchers (from all grad classes) will throw bullpens on Friday, August 14th at the Atlanta Braves Spring Complex (Cool today Park). College recruiters will be in attendance. Pitchers will also throw one inning in the game on Saturday. If you do not pitch or catch you will attend the August 15th tryout only.

All Florida Burn Fall teams will be selected from these tryouts. All rosters are wiped clean for each Burn tryout. This is your opportunity to make one of the Burn teams attending the WWBA World Championship this fall.

Aug 15...Full workout (all players and pitchers) 2027/2028 at Venice HS Complex

Aug 15...Full workout (all players and pitchers) 2029/2030 at Wellen Park HS Complex

Check-in begins at 8 AM...tryout/showcase 9 AM-3 PM.
