Mike Matthews returns for his seventh year with the Burn as a head coach.

Coach Matthews played under Craig Faulkner at Venice High School where he set numerous hitting records. Mike went on to a great career at Florida Gulf Coast University under head coach Dave Tollett.

Mike coached for several years at Estero HS and is currently coaching at Out of Door Academy in Bradenton.

Matthews' Burn teams have won several events over the past seven years and he remains a popular favorite with all of his players.
