• Mike Dubrule is amemebr of the Burn staff again this year. Last season, Mike coached the 2019 Easton. Mike joined the Burn after serving as a coach on the Venice High School staff in 2014, but he has served much more than that!

  • Mike Dubrule enlisted in the Marine Corps at age 17 right out of high school.  He served as an active duty Marine for 24 years, earning a degree and a commission as an officer at Florida State University.  His service took him to over 50 countries worldwide and 3 tours in combat to include service with an Infantry Battalion during the battle of Nasiriyah and command of a Marine Company during the battle for Fallujah in Iraq.  He led the Marine Corps and Navy Counterintelligence Training School and Marine Corps Central Command Intelligence group at MacDill AFB in Tampa when he retired in 2012 at the rank of Major. 

  • Mike started coaching travel baseball teams in 2006, leading teams to championship wins and final round finishes in several national level tournaments including Cooperstown Dreams Park, Omaha Slumpbuster, USSSA Elite 32, Perfect Game and others. 

  • In addition to helping players reach their potential on the field, Mike has a passion for guiding his players to become accountable and productive young men off the field as well.   Mike and his wife have three sons and live in Venice, Florida.
