• Jeff Callan will once again join the Burn staff for the summer serving as the head coach for the Burn 2019 Platinum team. The Burn's 2019 class will play under the guidance of a seasoned coach.  Jeff has served as a coach at Venice High School for 17 years and has won four state championships with Coach Faulkner. While his expertise is pitching, Jeff's understanding of the whole game will benefit the Burn players tremendously.

  • A native Canadian, Callan came to the states to play baseball at Trevecca University in Nashville where he earned All-Academic honors during his senior year.  He played for the Canadian Olympic Team in 1993 at the World University Games. Callan went back to Trevecca University to serve as the pitching coach in 1996 and earned his B.A. degree.  He later earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Discipline (better behave).  Jeff earned another Master's in Educational Leadership this year.  He has coached the Burn 13U team this spring.  Jeff was also a member of the championship team in the Molson Canadian Pond Hockey Championships in 1988-1991.

  • Jeff lives in Venice with his wife and two children.
